New Harmonic Gearbox R&D Center of Laifual | Chongqing University Intelligent Precision Transmission Research Institute

    On September 6, Chongqing University-Laifual Intelligent Precision Transmission Research Institute was officially established at the State Key Laboratory of Mechanical Transmission of Chongqing University.

State Key Laboratory of Mechanical Transmission, Chongqing University

     Chongqing University was founded in 1929. It is a national key university directly under the Ministry of Education. It is a high-level research-oriented comprehensive university of the national 211 Project and 985 Project, and a national "world-class university construction university (Class A)". The State Key Laboratory of Mechanical Transmission of Chongqing University has carried out a large number of applied basic research and innovative research in intelligent precision transmission, high-performance electromechanical transmission and systems, manufacturing technology and equipment of transmission system, mechanical transmission and system measurement control, materials and preparation of transmission system, and has achieved a series of important innovative research results, which is known as the world's four major gear research base.

     The "High-speed and Heavy-Duty Transmission System and Intelligent Equipment" research team of Chongqing University was founded by Professor Zhu Caichao in 2000,with more than 90 master's and doctoral students, undertaking more than 50 projects including national key R & D plans, national key natural science funds and major national science and technology projects, with a cumulative research fund of 25 millions.The research team have won 2 national science and technology awards, 8 provincial and ministerial first-class awards, 6 second-class awards, 3 national standards, more than 90 national patents, 30 software copyrights, published 5 academic monographs, and has reached the international advanced level in gear anti-fatigue design based on surface integrity, basic data of high-performance gears, intelligent precision transmission and drive system, and has become an important research base and talent training center in the field of high-speed and heavy-duty transmission system and intelligent equipment in China.
